Red Lipstick Makeup Tutorial: Coloured Raine Cherry Blossom
I have always admired a bold red lipstick paired with the perfect look. I was told all the time growing up, and even as an adult, that red lipstick just wasn’t for me—it was for light skinned girls. Girls like me should stick to colors like purple, but never red. I’ll admit it got to me, I never really felt comfortable with most reds and certainly not without a liner. This makeup tutorial shows my new found, perfect red lipstick makeup look for dark skin! It is super easy, and WOC friendly, so I hope you all enjoy 🙂

Winter Lookbook Featuring Affordable Outfits for Curvy Figures!
Hey Guys 🙂 I wanted to come on and do my first ever fashion video! This video was a lot of fun, and really made me want to put out more like it. These outfits are comfortable and flattering picks for curvy girls with curvy figures—particularly curvy hips. They are also so affordable, and wearable, that they will make great staples that can be mixed and matched across styles and seasons. Enjoy! Be sure to watch the video below 🙂
Outfit 1: Monochrome Jade
I love pairing fitting silhouettes with loose-fitting pieces on top. This is the first of those looks. I think these looks allow me to flatter my figure in a wearable and comfortable way, and this outfit is no exception. Paired with the thigh high boots, it dresses the look up but it also looks very cute with a heeled bootie. This outfit is not the warmest, as the material of the dress and trench are pretty thin, but it’s great for days when you’ll be indoors!
This outfit is the perfect balance between comfy and cute. I love the flannel, not just because of the comfort it gives this look, but also for how warm it is. It is the perfect choice for when I am bored of my cardigans, but still want something cozy to throw on. I love the red—it adds a pop to the outfit. To make the flannel more feminine, and make the outfit look more pulled together, I like to add a red lip and a pair of thigh high boots. Perfect for a football game, or a day out. You will love how effortlessly cute you look in this one!
This outfit is one of my favorites. It’s very classy, and can be easily dressed up, but it’s also super comfortable. It works well for a day out—coffee or lunch—and changing the shoes to heeled booties or a tall black boot seamlessly transition this outfit to a nighttime look. The dress is supposed to fall right above the knee, but it can be adjusted for preference. The waterfall detail on the duster really elevates the piece, as the material is admittedly not my favorite.
I have to admit that this outfit is a little bit out of my comfort zone, it’s a little more edgy and less girly, but I was really happy with it in the end! I love the monochrome aspect, and the bright orange interior on the jacket adds a welcome pop of color. I love the dress! The material is thicker than your average bodycon dress, so it’s super warm and very flattering. It will easily conceal tights, which I had on, and I imagine spanx if you want to wear those too! At 40$, the bomber is an absolute steal and it is also super warm.
This is one of the few mostly white outfits I love. The lighting makes it hard to see, but the dress is white and the vest is an off white cream suede exterior with a cream fur inside. This outfit is very warm, even without a coat, and very comfortable for all day wear. The taupe boots tie everything together, and is a chic addition to the look! Be sure to pair this with sheer tights if you decide to go black, opaque tights will be too stark a contrast.
I have to say that as many kits I have received, it never gets old! Each time, I have to take a moment and pinch myself at the thought that these brands not only have seen my work, but also like it enough to reach out. It’s truly humbling, and I have to thank each and every one of you—my supporters—for all of your love and support! I am so grateful to God for giving me the platform, and to all of you for being a part of it.

I am a HUGE lipstick girl. I love all types of lipstick, from matte to satins, and I have tried a very wide range of them from different brands…but I always come back to MAC. I love the quality and consistency, and I have to admit, there is something oddly satisfying about adding to my collection of sleek, bullet shaped lipstick tubes.
Even from before I started my channel, I loved watching dark I have done a lipstick swatch video from the MAC Matte Collection, with more fall/winter shades, and so I wanted to come on and do a video on the more colorful shades in this collection. If you are into matte lips, but don’t like liquid lipsticks then I highly recommend these! There are gorgeous, pigmented, and wear very comfortably for the most part. Even the driest of them, the Retro Mattes, are comfortably wearable over a good base. The normal mattes are very creamy, while also longwearing, and I recommend them for on the go wear. I have also included some dark skin lipstick lip liner suggestions for those of us who need to tone the brightness down! Enjoy 🙂

If you spend any time on Instagram looking at makeup and beauty posts, then you have most likely heard of Morphe Brushes. They are well known for their makeup application tools, but it is their eyeshadows that caught my attention! I first heard about these shadows from Jaclyn Hill, and was lucky enough to be able to snag the Jaclyn Hill palette when it came out. I loved the shadows in that limited edition release so much that I decided that I needed to get my hands on more palettes.
On this haul I picked up the Morphe 35O Palettes, both the shimmer and the matte, along with the 35F palette. I love them. The shadows are buttery and smooth, while very pigmented and consistent. Some pots do have a more powdery texture, but it’s not a huge problem. If you want to see my review, along with swatches, be sure to check out the video below! Enjoy 🙂
