Super easy DIY Mask to Even Out Skin Tone Fast!

yogurt facial

Pimples are bad enough, but they can become nightmarish if they leave behind scars and discoloration.  I never had acne (thank God), but I still have the occasional breakout whenever Aunt Flo comes to town.  Everyone knows that picking pimples is practically begging for a scar, but sometimes these villains find a way to leave their mark no matter what you do! Here is my tried and true method for brightening dark spots and evening out my skin over time.  Paired with regular exfoliation, this recipe works better than a charm!

What You’ll Need…

Plain Yogurt (preferably with as little sugars and other extras as possible)

How it Works

Mix the yogurt and apply it to your face a day or so after exfoliating.  You can apply it with your fingers or with a fan brush, but I find that fingers make for quicker application but the heat from you hands can also make it runnier.  The yogurt can become runny so it may be best to do this laying down and wearing a shirt you don’t mind getting dirty.  Leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse even if it isn’t completely dry.

You can do this about one or two times a week, and it is super easy! This DIY alternative makes an incredible effective mask to even out skin tone!

PROM Makeup Tutorial to Match ANY Dress!

prom makeup

Hey guys! I really wanted to get up a PROM Makeup look that will mesh well with any dress, no matter the color! I remember struggling to find the perfect eyeshadow color to match my dress so I know this can be tough.  I also included two different options for the makeup look, one that is more high school (lipgloss and blush) and another that is more GLAM (liquid lipstick and a high beam highlighter).  I think you will enjoy both PROM Makeup looks, so be sure to check out the PROM Makeup Tutorial below!

Jaclyn Hill Palette Spring Makeup Look

jaclyn hill palette

Hey guys, I wanted to do a spring makeup tutorial using the gorgeous Morphe Brushes eyeshadow in the Jaclyn Hill Palette.  This look is the perfect balance between colorful and neutral and so it allows you to add a touch of spring to your everyday look! I love Morphe Brushes shadows! They are super buttery and pigmented, and I am pleasantly surprised because I was a little skeptical that shadows so affordable could be so good.  The Morphe Brushes Jaclyn Hill palette is the perfect assortment of colors and will be great for a wide range of skintones.  Check out the makeup tutorial below!

Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette

revealed 3 palette

Hey guys! I recently had the opportunity to try the new Revealed 3 palette.  I know a bunch of you loved the looks I have created with the Revealed 2 palette, so I decided to go ahead and try this one for you all as well.  This palette has a really unique combination of shades, all with a plum tone so it will appeal to a lot of people. I personally prefer the Revealed 2 palette since it has a rose gold theme, and I also find that the shadows in that palette are all gorgeously pigmented.  I have a look with that palette HERE.
